La Varenne (28th Floor, Tornado Tower, West Bay, Doha) – for those who want to splurge, this French restaurant offers various French classics such as French Onion Soup and specials as well. It currently offers only breakfast and lunch. There’s a bakery on-site, which prepares fresh pastries and breads during breakfast, with some patrons showing up simply for the coffee and croissants.
Because of its location, some come to admire the artwork: originals from Damien Hurst, Keith Haring, and Lichtenstein. With stunning views of Doha’s West Bay high rise district, you can even see the Arabian Gulf between the skyscrapers.
