Seven Nightclub (La Cigale Hotel, 60 Suhaim Bin Hamad Street, Al Sadd Area, Doha) — ‘7’ or ‘Seven’ (like Sky View Bar, is located within the La Cigale Hotel) is without a doubt one of the best establishments to come to Doha in recent years. The night club which houses 700 people, is white in decor, has various levels, the DJ booth is in the wall (which makes it impossible to request songs!) and several dance and seating areas. The night club music was electric, up to date and edgy. It was a breath of fresh air for La Cigale to play Western songs which meant that it attracted clientele not just from the Arabic world but from Europe and beyond. With smoke machines, a huge plasma screen playing music videos and an excellent lighting system it really made for a fantastic night out. It also books international House music DJs from the UK and elsewhere.
