Sky View Bar (La Cigale Hotel, 60 Suhaim Bin Hamad Street, Al Sadd Area, Doha) — this is the trendiest bar in Doha. On the 15th floor of the five-star La Cigale Hotel, you head down an anonymous corridor, through nondescript door marked ‘Sky View’, and suddenly you’re on a huge open-air balcony with vertigo- inducing glass sides, enjoying the coolest and most impressive view on town. The drinks list includes a good range of cocktails, just a few beers and some fun surprises like jelly shots. There’s a DJ and a real buzz about the place- this is where the beautiful people hang out. Granted , it’s a bit cramped, but no one seems to mind and there are plans in the pipe line to make it bigger. Snacks like sushi and sashimi are also served.
