Wahm (“W” Doha Hotel & Residences, West Bay, Doha) — Wahm is advertised around town as the W Hotel’s “pool bar”, but to call it such is to do it great disservice. Yes, there is a pool, which at night is lit form below under the W’s signature pinks and purples, but it’s the indoor and outdoor modern majilis seating and laidback vibe that makes Wahm a venue in itself. The contemporary Arabic theme continues on through the mezze snacks on offer and to the vibrantly colored oriental decor that kits out the venue. Patrons can puff away on a hookah pipe, amidst chilled-out grooves and the company of good friends in al fresco cabana and you’ll more than likely never want to leave.
